Depth to the iTC5
I wired my DST 800 to the iTC-5 in the following manner: unprotected wire to the shield receptacle, the blue and black wires to their respective colors. Speed and the wind seem to work okay, but the depth still gets a blinking light. I am not in the water so I didn't expect an accurate read, but I am getting no reading at all. Is this common?

RE: Depth to the iTC5
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Sam.

The system is behaving normally. One would not typically expect that a low power instrument depth transducer would be capable of sensing any depth when the transducer is out of the water or located in water having a depth which is less than 3' beneath the transducer.
