Upgrading rc435 & ST60
I want to upgrade the electronics on my sailboat. I have an rc435i chartplotter and an ST60 tri-data package.

The transducer used by the ST60 is a P17 retractable unit and there's a matching speed log sensor that mounts in a similar thru-hull fitting.

Are there any transducer options that will fit in the existing thru-hull fitting that are compatible with the Axiom MFD? If not, what are my options?

Thank you,
-Rick

RE: Upgrading rc435 & ST60
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Rick,

Raymarine offers no fishfinder transducers which are designed to be inserted within the P17's housing. However, the outside diameter of the housing is 2" and Raymarine offers some compatible 600W 50kHz/200kHz transducer (found here) which may be installed in place of the P17's housing. While such transducers will support neither DownVision sonar imaging nor RealVision sonar imaging, they will support traditional 600W 50kHz/200kHz conical sonar imaging when interfaced to an Axiom DV MFD or Axiom RV MFD.
