Chuck, to further the thread for others, can you post what is necessary to connect a CP470/CP570 to an Axiom system? Only Axiom pro?

Oregoncme,

Q1. Chuck, to further the thread for others, can you post what is necessary to connect a CP470/CP570 to an Axiom system? Only Axiom pro?

A1. Should an Axiom MFD or Axiom Pro MFD have an unused Ethernet Network socket, then the MFD may simply be interfaced to a CP470/CP570 via an appropriate length of RayNet (F) to RayNet (F) Cable. However, should the Axiom MFD or Axiom Pro MFD(s) not have an unused Ethernet Network socket, then a HS5 RayNet Network Switch will need to be installed. The MFD(s), CP470/CP570, and other compatible devices having an Ethernet communications interface may simply be interfaced to the HS5 RayNet Network Switch via an appropriate length of RayNet (F) to RayNet (F) Cable. Should a single HS5 RayNet Network Switch not have sufficient Ethernet Network sockets, then the Gigabit socket of a second HS5 RayNet Network Switch may be interfaced to the Gigabit socket of the first HS5 RayNet Network Switch via an appropriate length of RayNet (F) to RayNet (F) Cable.

Please additionally note that the Axiom Pro RVX MFDs feature internal 1kHz CHIRP fishfinder circuitry, permitting compatible 1kW CHIRP Transducers to be directly interfaced to the Axiom Pro RVX MFD.
