[TG] Adding an EV1 Heading Sensor to Axiom?
I would like to have heading data on my NMEA 2000 network for the Axiom panel to use, the EV1 looks like the correct product but it is setup for a SeaTalkng network.

Is it easy/possible to connect the EV1 directly to the NMEA 2000 net without creating a separate SeaTalkng bus? Maybe an adapter cable between the EV1 and the NMEA T connector?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hello pinkish_panther,

No problem. The only difference between STNG and vanilla NMEA2000 is the connector/cabling type: an adaptor cable is all you need. Part A06075 (http://www.raymarine.com.au/view/?id=5536) should do what you need.
