[CA] Sharing between 2 MFDs
When I bought my boat a few years ago it came with a DX600 fish finder and RC435 plotter. I replaced the DX600 with an A67 mfd and CP300 sonar and 1kw transducer. I now want to replace the RC435 with a A6x mfd. Although no longer made I can get an A68. I will install a HS5 network switch to enable sharing. I intend to run the A67 as the master with the chart card in this mfd.
I have a few of questions.
If I use the A67 for sonar will the A68 display the charts OK?
The A68 comes with Downvision. Could I display the sonar from the CP300 on the A68 and chart on the A67?
If I also installed the CPT100 transducer I know I’m likely to get interference with the CP300. Can I select which sonar is active and be able to use either sonar depending on situation?

RE: [CA] Sharing between 2 MFDs
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum James,

Q1. If I use the A67 for sonar will the A68 display the charts OK?
A1. When interfaced as you have described, the a67 and a68 will share all data, features, and resources ... including cartography.

Q2. Could I display the sonar from the CP300 on the A68 and chart on the A67?
A2. Yes ... see the response to Q1.

Q3. If I also installed the CPT100 transducer I know I’m likely to get interference with the CP300.
A3. Yes ... see the response to Q1.

Q4. Can I select which sonar is active and be able to use either sonar depending on situation?
A4. Yes
