Bug [CA] NMEA0183 out from Axiom Pro
Hello,

I want to get the NMEA0183 (in particular GPS data) from my Axiom Pro.

It looks like from the manual I need to use the Yellow and Brown wires which are labelled output.

I didn't see any option in the MFD to set the baud rate on the output. So I am not sure what to set the VHF Radio to (which is want NMEA0183 GPS input).

Cheers

W

RE: [CA] NMEA0183 out from Axiom Pro
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Watsala,

Indeed, if seeking to supply a VHF radio with GPS data via the Axiom Pro MFD's NMEA 0183 communications interface, then yellow (NMEA 0183 OUT+) and brown (NMEA 0183 OUT-) leads of the would be interfaced to the corresponding NMEA 0183 input leads of the VHF radio. The MFD's Port setting is defaulted to 4800 BAUD and may be configured via the command sequence HOME->SET-UP and then selecting the NMEA SET-UP button on Network tab.
