(DG) power supply on mixed St1 and Stng

(DG) power supply on mixed St1 and Stng
I am just addding an ev100 autopilot to an existing st60 instrument and es57 chartplotter system, so I already had St1 and Stng systems.

My concern is what to separately power up from fused supplies.
Id eally Id like a separate switch/circuit for

the instruments
the autopilot
the chartplotter

However, I seen diagrms that show a separate power connection to
ST1
Stng
Chartplotter
autopilot

Which of these feed any of the others, and what size fuses should I fit?

Thank you for your enquiry.
The Diagram that you attached is largely correct, as follows . .

- the ACU100 should have a dedicated power supply and requires a 10A Fuse
- the eS75 should have a dedicated power supply and requires a 5A Fuse
- the STng backbone, (power supply to the 5 way connection block) should have a dedicated power supply and requires a 5A fuse
- the ST60+ displays can be powered direct from the SeaTalk to STng converter and so an independant supply is not required, (UNLESS there are more than 3 devices/ displays connected to SeaTalk in which case an independent 5A supply for Seatalk will be required)

In cases where the SeaTalk displays are 3 or less click here for further details regarding the system connections.

In cases where there are more than 3 SeaTalk displays, an independent 5A supply for Seatalk will be required and the key point to note is not to connect the red +12v power wire from the SeaTalk system to the yellow socket on the SeaTalk to STng converter block. The converter block takes it's power from STng and so make sure the red core of the SeaTalk wire is cut back and insulated leaving only the Yellow SeaTalk wire and the 0volt wire connected to the converter block.
