[CA] Fairing block
i am about to fit an in-hull bronze transducer CPT 80 with plastic fairing block
on reading instructions it looks like I should cut this actual fairing block to required angle of the bottom of the boat
looking for confirmation on this before destroying fairing block

RE: [CA] Fairing block
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Tugo,

The fairing blocks of through hull transducer are indeed intended to be cut by the installer to match the deadrise of the hull. When installed properly a thru-hull transducer having a fairing block will be installed such that it is pointing downward with its face parallel to the waterline.
