Marking the boundaries of a restricted area

The easiest way view the boundaries of a restricted area within the MFD's chart applications is to create waypoints at the corners of the rectangle or polygon which forms the boundaries of the restricted area. These waypoints may be created graphically or using numerical lat/lon coordinates. After doing so, the route creation feature (MENU->NAVIGATE->BUILD ROUTE) would then be used to connect each of the waypoints, ending back at the first waypoint of the route. The leg lines of the created route will then serve to mark the boundaries of the restricted area. The color of the route's leg lines may also be changed using the route editor (MENU->MY DATA->ROUTES->Select route from the displayed route list->ROUTE OPTIONS->EDIT COLOR).
