[CA] Axiom 9 Power Swipe
I have seen a number of posts here regarding power swipe issues with no real resolution. We have purchased a total of 4 Axiom 9's (purchased 2 and then exchanged for 2 new ones) and all have had issues with the device not responding to a power swipe after being on for a while for most and one of them if left alone for even an hour it will not respond to the power swipe. These are brand new units, just unboxed 2 days ago. If you remove power for a minute and reconnect, the power swipe works fine for a limited time then becomes unresponsive again. This would seem to indicate that this is a software/firmware issue. All of the units are running lighthouse 3.3.170. We purchased these for the express purpose of controlling a FLIR M232. Without an immediate solution to this problem we will be forced to return these two and switch to third party MFD's to control the M232. These are installed on a climate controlled wheelhouse with clean 12v power.

Thanks,
Jeff

RE: [CA] Axiom 9 Power Swipe
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Jeff,

Please accept our apology for the reported problem with the power swipe feature of the Axiom MFDs. As you have suggested the symptoms reported with the power swipe are being caused by a software bug introduced in LightHouse 3 v3.3.170 software. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. As indicated within the referenced FAQ, the corresponding feature correction is expected to be included within the LightHouse 3 v3.4.x software update which is currently expected to be released before the end of this week.
