[CA] C127 MFD Sonar issue
I have a C127 MFD which has developed an intermittent sonar issue.  The sonar will be working properly and then display the error "Selected Sounder Unavailable".  The only way to get the sonar back up for a time is to power the MFD off/on.  Sometimes it will work for only minutes and other times it works for 30 mins or longer.  Seems to last longer at lower boat speed but not always. No pattern.

The sounder being used the the internal one, there is no other sounder to select.

RE: [CA] C127 MFD Sonar issue
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum koko2870,

It is recommended that the transducer cable's plug be disconnected from the MFD's transducer socket and inspected for signs of damage or corrosion. If none is found, then the transducer cable's plug should be reconnected to the MFD's transducer socket and it should be ensured that the plug's locking ring is is rotated into the locked position. It is then recommended that the vessel be connected to shore power, that its batteries be permitted to fully charge, and that the system then be tested again while connected to shore power. Should the problem persist when so tested, then it would be recommended that the MFD be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.
