[CA11] Format of Navionics CF Card?
Hi,
I have had some problems of late with the Navionics Freshest Data updates from Navionics. I had there support try to assist, but all they did was to erase the disk and then reformat it and reload the data and charts. It still will not load on my C80 or E120 MFDs.
The original CF card format was Fat16, but the new format is now Fat32. Does this affect the readability of the CF card to my MFDs?
Thanks,
Jeff

Thanks,
Jeff Gardiner

RE: [CA11] Format of Navionics CF Card?
Jeff,

Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. These MFDs are compatible with Navionics chart cards which have been formatted with either a FAT or FAT32 file system. The maximum memory capacity of CF memory cards used with C/E-Series Classic MFDs is 32GB. It is strongly recommended that no changes the formatting of the Navionics chart card without explicit direction from Navionics.
