Satellite weather is being received, but not satellite radio

Separate subscriptions are required for SiriusXM Marine Weather and SiriusXM Satellite Radio. Many vessels are equipped with SiriusXM ready stereo head units. Such stereo head units may play SiriusXM programming by one of the following means:
- the audio output port of the SiriusXM Satellite Weather/Radio Receiver has been interfaced to the stereo head unit's AUX IN port. Correspondingly, the stereo head unit must be configured to listen to use the AUX IN port when desiring to listen to Sirius Satellite Radio programming. When interfaced in this manner, the SiriusXM Satellite Weather/Radio Receiver must be powered ON when whenever desiring to listen to SiriusXM Satellite Radio programming. The Data Master MFD must be powered ON whenever SiriusXM Satellite Radio program selection will be changed. SiriusXM program selection would be exclusively performed via the MFD's SiriusXM Audio app displayed on the MFD's screen.
- the stereo head has been interfaced to a SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner. When interfaced to a SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner, the Raymarine equipment need not be powered/switched ON. When so interfaced, SiriusXM program selection cannot be performed via the SiriusXM Audio app displayed on the MFD's screen. SiriusXM program selection may performed via one of the following:
---- via the stereo head unit's user interface;
---- via a smartphone/tablet which has connected to the stereo head unit / Bluetooth receiver via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and is running a compatible app permitting remote control of the stereo head unit.
