[CA11] Connection wiring too short
I’m installing a new EV-100 Wheel Auto Pilot along with Sea Talk, ACU etc. I’m finding that preferred placement of the controller from the EV-1 sensor, Drive unit and power supply is further than the supplied power lines and Sea Talk cables will allow. Is it possible to get longer lines? If so, what part numbers should I use in ordering?

RE: [CA11] Connection wiring too short
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum WEG3,

Please click here to view a FAQ addressing installation of products in conjunction with a pedestal. The maximum permissible length of a SeaTalkng/NMEA 2000 spur is 6m. Should the separation distances of devices exceed this maximum, then the SeaTalkng backbone will need to be extended to close the distance. SeaTalkng networking components may be found on Raymarine’s SeaTalkng / NMEA 200 Networking web page.
