[CA11] DragonFly Pro 7 Slow Refresh
Hello,

Can anyone provide any help with slow chart refresh for Dragonfly 7 pro ?

Any speed over 25 mph and the refresh rate cannot keep up.

Will attach some photos.

Thanks

Stan

RE: [CA11] DragonFly Pro 7 Slow Refresh
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Stan,

Please excuse this late response. While it is not uncommon for the chart refreshes to take 2-3 seconds when manually ranging or panning, this behavior would not be expected when the Chart application has been commanded to Find Ship and is then simply monitoring the vessel's position on the chart. It should be noted that interaction the Chart application may then cause it to exit moving map mode until Find Ship is commanded once again. Please additionally note that North-Up chart orientation is recommended when the vessel is stationary or operating at speeds be 2kts. At higher speeds, Head Up, chart orientation is most commonly recommended for those operating in coastal waters, lakes, or rivers. Should your Dragonfly display not be performing as specified above, then it would be recommended that it be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.
