E165 Depth sounder doesn't fill in
After one of the updates the depth sounder would show open space generally under the floor level and while it is not anything critical it is a bit annoying.

Does anybody know if this has been corrected with the latest software fixes?

RE: E165 Depth sounder doesn't fill in
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Saltydawg,

The reported issues is not indicative of a problem with the CP100's processing or with that of your e165 MFD's software. It should also be noted that the un-filled area is actually below the bottom. Should you have watched the plot as it was being generated prior to the empty boxed area being displayed, you would have found that each Fishfinder applications pane was completely filled with imaging data as it is on the right hand most side of the plot. At the point where the depth range has changed, the boxed area appears, denoting a change (automatic or manual) in the fishfinder's range setting. As the CHIRP/DownVision is optimized for shallow water operation, this feature will be most apparent in very shallow depths (such as shown within your photo) and will become increasing less frequent as the depth of the water being sounded increases.

RE: E165 Depth sounder doesn't fill in
Chuck thank you for the feedback, I am aware that it is below the bottom. To be clear you're saying this is normal and nothing is malfunctioning correct?
