RE: [CA11] ais 700 and old C80 chartplotter
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Antonio,

Raymarine autopilots are not designed to bridge AIS data from a NMEA 0183 AIS source to SeaTalk or SeaTalkng. Irrespective of this fact, SeaTalk communications protocol does not support communications of AIS data and the software of C-Series Classic MFDs is not designed to process NMEA 2000 PGNs containing AIS data. The AIS receiver or transceiver must be interfaced to the MFD's NMEA 0183 communications interface in the manner specified within the FAQ found here. Commonly available marine grade twisted pair signal cable is recommended when seeking to extend the NMEA 0183 leads of a product.
