RE: [CA11] A127 Needing Transducer Options
Thanks Chuck. I reviewed the manual for the new Tri-Data, and didn't see the ability to individually set them, but if I read between the lines so to speak, I think I can see how I would set just the depth to repeater mode, and not the speed.

As always, thanks so much for getting back to me and your patience!

Dave

Dave,

Unfortunately, the manuals for the ST60/ST60+ instruments omitted information concerning how to configure master/slave settings. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject.

RE: [CA11] A127 Needing Transducer Options
Hey Chuck, my reseller is indicating problems with getting the B60 transducer. The recommendation is a A80447. I have checked and know that a 20 degree unit will work best. Can you advise if the A80447 will be able to direct connect to an A127 to provide both depth and underwater landscape view? I understand that the A80447 is plastic which is fine, (same as the old transducer that will come out).

If the A80447 is OK, can you include a link to the product so that I can check out physical dimensions?

tks

Dave

RE: [CA11] A127 Needing Transducer Options
Dave,

The 600W fishfinder circuitry to of the ax7/cx7/e7D/ex7/eSx7 MFDs is exclusively designed to function in conjuction with a compatible 600W or 1kW 50kHz/200kHz fishfinder transducer. The A80447 is not such a transducer. The A80447 is a CPT-S transducer which is designed to be interfaced to the transducer of an ax8/eSx8 MFD, Axiom DV MFD, or CP100 DownVision Sounder Module. If seeking to use a CPT-S transducer with an ax7/cx7/e7D/ex7/eSx7 MFD, it would be necessary to interface the CPT-S transducer to an ax8/eSx8 MFD or CP100 DownVision Sounder Module, which in turn would be interfaced to the ax7/cx7/e7D/ex7/eSx7 MFD.

Alternatively, you may want to consider adapting (part #E66066) one of the CP370 compatible B60 transducers to permit the transducer to be mated to your MFD's fishfinder Transducer socket.

RE: [CA11] A127 Needing Transducer Options
So there is no plastic, thru-hull transducer with only depth or depth/temperature that can be direct connected to the A127?

tks

Dave

Dave,

Raymarine offers no plastic tilted element transducers.
