[CA11] Ultimate sonar fish finder package.
With a 13° deadrise, fishing from 5' - 2500', what is the ultimate sonar fish finding package does Raymarine have to offer with the following mfd's;
2; axiom pro 16's.
Or
1; axiom pro 16, and axiom XL 16.
Or
2; axiom XL 16 mfd's.
Decided on a 2kw transducer, as a 3kw Is just to big.
Thanks!

RE: [CA11] Ultimate sonar fish finder package.
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Fish On,

I'm a fan of the HybridTouch user interface rather than touch screen-only user interfaces, as it can be easier to interact with when underway. Accordingly, I would recommend considering a pair of Axiom Pro MFDs. If seeking to drive the 2kW CHIRP transducer with 1kW, then a pair of Axiom Pro S MFDs with a RVX1000 Fishfinder Sounder Module would be recommended. The RVX1000 is a versatile sonar solution for both inshore and offshore fishing. If seeking to drive the 2kW CHIRP transducer with 2kW, then an Axiom Pro RVW MFD and an Axiom Pro S MFD with a CP470 CHIRP Fishfinder Sounder Module would be recommended. From the standpoint of transducers, please indicate the hull's length, type of propulsion, hull material, whether the hull features coring material in the location where a transducer may be installed. Please additionally indicate any preference for thru-hull or in-hull style of 2kW CHIRP transducer.

RE: [CA11] Ultimate sonar fish finder package.
Hull length; 45'
Diesel inboard.
All Fiberglass hull.
2kw Thru hull transducer; bronze. Best type.
Would the cp570 sounder be better than cp470?
Also, are you saying 2 axiom pro would be better. 1 of which is a axiom pro 16 Rvx,
And other is axiom pro 16s.
How many transducers will I need total? Keep in mind, want RealVision 3D sonar technology, CHIRP Side and DownVision, plus a low-powered high frequency chirp high-powered CHIRP Sonar (Low, Medium, High CHIRP, 50/80/100/160/200kHz). Want this with 2kw transducer.
Thanks

RE: [CA11] Ultimate sonar fish finder package.
Fish On,

Q1) Would the cp570 sounder be better than cp470?
A1) For those seeking the very best in CHIRP sonar, the CP570 would indeed be CHIRP sounder module of choice as it features 2 independent CHIRP channels.

Q2. Also, are you saying 2 axiom pro would be better. 1 of which is a axiom pro 16 Rvx, And other is axiom pro 16s.
A2. If opting for a CP470 or CP570, then I would indeed recommend that one Axiom Pro RVX 16 MFD and one Axiom Pro S 16 MFD be purchased.

A3. Three transducers would be required. To satisfy the RealVision 3D, SideVision, DownVision, and low power high frequency CHIRP sonar, a RV-212 Bronze Through Hull Transducer Pair (for hulls with up to 13° degrees of deadrise) or a RV-220 Bronze Through Hull Transducer Pair (for hulls with 14° to 26°) would be required. For high power CHIRP, the R109 LH 2KW Through-Hull Transducer would be recommended.

RE: [CA11] Ultimate sonar fish finder package.
Chuck,
Can all the transducers be on and viewed at the samerime on axiom pro Rvx mfd's? Or, only cp570 with 2kw transducer can be displayed on, and internal transducer on axiom pro16rvx be on at seperate times.
If not, can this be achieved by installing one sonar package on 1 MFD, and sonar package on Other MFD.

RE: [CA11] Ultimate sonar fish finder package.
Fish On,

Within a properly networked system of Raymarine Axiom/Axiom Pro/Axiom XL MFDs, all system resources (except for UAVs) are share among the system's MFD. Accordingly, any MFD would have access to sonar imaging from any of the systems fishfinder transducers.

RE: [CA11] Ultimate sonar fish finder package.
Chuck,
With a 13° deadrise, how would I know, or what should be done to drermine if the rv212 dual transducer set-up would be a better option than the rv220 dual transducer set-up.
Or, would you know which one is best for my application.
Thanks

RE: [CA11] Ultimate sonar fish finder package.
Per the RealVision 3D Transducers web page, Raymarine’s RV-212 Bronze Through Hull Transducer system pack contains a pair of RealVision 3D transducers with internal offset to accommodate hull deadrise angles from 6° to 18°. This is the appropriate transducer pair for your vessel's 13 degrees of deadrise.
