[CA11] Wireless Remote Control of Tiller Pilot
Can the ST2000 tiller pilot be controlled by a wireless remote? If so, what are all the components that would need to be purchased?
If not, what about the EV-100 tiller pilot? -- same questions. Thank you.

RE: [CA11] Wireless Remote Control of Tiller Pilot
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum rsmartin,

Both the ST2000 Tiller Pilot and the EV-100 Tiller Pilot can be controlled by Raymarine's S100 and SmartController Autopilot Remotes. In systems featuring a ST2000, or any autopilot having a SeaTalk communications interface, the remote's wireless base station will be interfaced either to the SeaTalk bus or to the autopilot's SeaTalk interface via an appropriate length of SeaTalk Cable. As the wireless base station has a SeaTalk communications interface, those who will be interfacing it to an Evolution autopilot would require a SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter Kit, which would in turn be installed as a component of the system's powered and properly terminated SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone.
