Rainbow [CA11] Raymarine C120 x Navionics CompactFLash
Hi Raymarine,

I have a Raymarine C120 radar and when I insert the compact flash, everything works but after 30 minutes, a blue screen appears telling the compact flash was abruptly ejected and EVERYTHING on the boat stops including the autopilot.

I did everything that Raymarine told me and Navionics told me. Recently I bought the new Navionics Compact Flash card with 2Gb which is Navionics Update World. I have upgrade the Raymarine software and did a downgrade as well.

Could you help me please?

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum gustavoholzhausen,

Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. Should the you have addressed the items specified within this FAQ and should the reported issue persist then it may indicate a problem either with the MFD's memory card reader or with the Navionics chart card (either with the data cartography stored on the CF card or with the CF card itself). Should you have access to an older Navionics chart card which had previously been proven to be compatible with the MFD, then it would be recommended that the MFD be tested with this Navionics chart card. Should the problem then be duplicated with the older chart card, then it would indicate that the MFD is beginning to suffer a failure of its memory card reader. Should a problem be identified with the MFD's memory card reader, then it would unfortunately be necessary to replace the MFD, as Raymarine can no longer service C-Series Classic MFDs.
