RE: [CA11] T120 Wind Transmitter distance to T121 Hull Transmitter
Kirk,

Q1. I will need a Wind instrument such as an i60 in order to calibrate the transducer, as the Axiom 9 is not set up to do the calibration.
A1. Negative. With the introduction of LightHouse 3 v3.11.42, calibration of depth, speed and wind sensors which have been interfaced to an iTC-5 may now be calibrated from an Axiom/Axiom Pro/Axiom XL MFD as well as from an i70S/i70 MFID.

Q2. Which wind instruments would be compatible with an E22078? Would any legacy instruments work?
A2. See the response to Q1. Additionally, the E22078 Masthead Wind Transducer may be interfaced to an i60 Wind instrument, ST60/ST60+ Wind instrument, or ST70/ST290 Wind Pod.

Q3a. Would the i60 otherwise interface to the Axiom 9 through the STng backbone?
A3a. Should an i60 Wind instrument be installed, then it would indeed be interfaced as a spur to the system's backbone.

Q3b. Would wind data then be fully displayed on the wind dashboard?
A3b. Yes.
