[DG11] RCU-3 and Axiom
A future feature suggestion, that the Axiom plotter is compatible with RCU-3 Steering Wheel Remote. Would it not nice that the plotter is compatible with Raymarine products? While at it, why is not SPX pilots compatible with Axiom? I guess that all shall upgrade.

cheers

RE: [DG11] RCU-3 and Axiom
Hi gungner

The RCU3 currently is not compatible with Lighthouse 3, it is in the plan, but has a low priority compared to other modifications that customers have asked for.

The AXIOM is compatible with all current Raymarine SeaTalkng equipment when using STng/ NMEA 2000 connections. The STng to SeaTalk converter can be used to connect the earlier SeaTalk equipment.

SPX autopilots can be connected to the AXIOM through the Converter or STng direct and can be used to follow a route - this is done by making a route ACTIVE in AXIOM, then selecting AUTO and then TRACK in the SPX autopilot , however, there is not a plan to enable the full control of the autopilot through the AXIOM keyboard, (for example enable AUTO and STANDBY functions).

Regards
Derek

Is RCU-3 still incomparable with newest Lighthouse 3.9.46? Is update still in the works?
