[CA11] EV 150 Question
Just installed an EV 150 on my boat 2003 Pursuit 2670. Its paired to a Garmin 1040sx the seatalkn ring that came with the EV 150 kit . I used the " minimum Seatalkn " wiring schematic with SEATALKN to nmea 200 adapter for the garmin. I can see all the Raymarine devices on the Garmin but i dont know how to tell if the Raymarine ev 150 is communicating with the Garmin for tracking purposes. IS there a way to check it on the p70rs screen ?

RE: [CA11] EV 150 Question
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum pursuit2670,

It's not clear from your diagram what backbone networking component your p70RS and Garmin chartplotting product have been interfaced to ... please identify it. While it is clear that that the devices are communicating, to verify operational compatibility command the chartplotter to go to a cursor position or waypoint. After doing so and while underway, use the autopilot's control head to command the autopilot into Auto and then Track mode. If not operationally compatible, the p70RS will report No Navigation data when commanded into Track mode.
