[CA11] gS MFD Compatibilty with Mercruiser Axius Autopilot
Is the gS MFD compatible Mercruiser Axius Autopilot? I see notation that it supports Raymarine Evolution autopilot. Also, if it is compatible, are there any known issues either Lighthouse 2 or 3.

Thank you as always for your support.

John

RE: [CA11] gS MFD Compatibilty with Mercruiser Axius Autopilot
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum John,

I'm not aware of any issues with passing navigational data associated with navigating to a waypoint/cursor position or following a route from a system running LightHouse II software or LightHouse 3 software to a Mercury Axius system. Some Axius systems feature a NMEA 0183 communications interface. Similarly, the following Raymarine MFDs feature a NMEA 0183 communications interface:
- Axiom XL MFDs
- Axiom Pro MFDs
- gS-Series MFDs
- eS-Series MFDs
- e-Series MFDs
- c-Series MFDs
- a9x/a12x MFDs.

Additionally, an Actisense NGW-1-ISO NMEA 0183 to NMEA 2000 data bridge may be use in conjunction with Raymarine MFDs lacking a NMEA 0183 communications interface:
- Axiom MFDs
- a6x/a7x MFDs.

Mercury Marine also offers a SmartCraft to NMEA 2000 gateway. If this gateway supports communications of navigational data associated with navigating to a waypoint/cursor position or following a route to the Mercury Axius system (recommend verifying with Mercury Marine), then it may be possible to utilize any of the above listed MFDs within the system.
