[CA11] New axiom 9 won’t track downrigger ball depth
New axiom 9 with latest update won’t track downrigger ball. I have never had a unit not track downrigger ball depth . I was fishing in a 150’ of water and 80’ of cable out is this normal I went from a lowrance unit to raymarine this year .

Dear Tleese,

Thank you for your post.

What transducer are you connected to and where is it mounted?

What are you trying to view it on? Real vision? Down vision? Side vision?

What size is the target?

Can you send some screenshots of what you are viewing and where would expect to see the target?

Many Thanks
Louise

RE: [LW11] New axiom 9 won’t track downrigger ball depth
I have a similar issue. Axiom 9 with a RV 100 mounted on the Starboard side of the stern.

At anything less than 100 feet I can usually pick up the ball. Beyond 100 ft I loose tracking. The cone angle of the RV 100 must be narrow.

I just upgraded this year from a C70 with a DSM 300 50/200 mghz. Performance of the old system was much better depending on which setting and depth.

Rabbit,

Please address the following questions previously asked by Louise:

Can you send some screenshots of what you are viewing and where would expect to see the target?
