QUANTUM RADAR WIFI CONNECTION TO PC OR TABLET
Could I use the Quantum Q24 radar with an android tablet and/or a PC (wifi connection or ethernet) or does it only work with a Raymarine MFD?

RE: QUANTUM RADAR WIFI CONNECTION TO PC OR TABLET
Hello HIPPOS,

You have to have a Raymarine MFD. There's no app/software for iOS or Android which can take radar data directly from a Quantum and display it (and we would strongly discourage this anyway because we don't think it's a good idea to rely on a droppable, non-waterproof, non-sunlight-viewable, battery-powered device for collision-avoidance etc.), though you can repeat what's on the screen of a Raymarine Axiom, Axiom Pro or Axiom XL display through the RayRemote or RayControl apps which are free on the App Store and Google Play. These will allow a form of dual-station capability.

Regards,
Tom
