Interfacing Raymarine to Standard horizon
I recently purchased a raymarine C70 multifunction unit and the gentleman I purchased it from informed me I should be able to interface it with the GPS on my standard horizon CP 300i via the NMEA cable I have with my C70. That will allow me to utilize the chartplotter. Is this interface achievable without additional equipment?

RE: Interfacing Raymarine to Standard horizon
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum hiltz,

Should the third party chartplotter also support 4800 BAUD NMEA 0183 v3.01 communications, then its NMEA 0183 output leads may be interfaced to the NMEA 0183 input leads of the C-Series Classic MFD's NMEA 0183 Cable to support sharing GPS data with the C-Series Classic MFD.
