Upgrading ST6001
Hi - I'd like to upgrade this without changing the autopilot computer etc to the Raymarine P70s Autopilot Controller, is that a simple replace or more complex?

RE: Upgrading ST6001
Hello nickvh,

Yes, you can connect a p70, p70R, p70S or p70RS into a Seatalk1 pilot system via an A06073 3pin-6pin adaptor cable and a D244 Seatalk 3-way junction block. This won't change the pilot's operation or performance (the display is just that, all of the intelligence of the pilot is in the course computer) but will update the look of the helm of course.

Regards,
Tom
