[CA11] Element MFD - Is there a MOB button?
I just bought a sailboat with some older Raymarine electronics (E120, RC320, analog radar, ST4000+ etc), and I want to upgrade the RC320 at the helm to something a bit more modern.
I prefer buttons to touchscreens, so the Element 9 seems like a good fit, even though it has some fishing functions I won't be using. I will be adding a NMEA 2000 backbone, and a connection from the SeaTalk 1 network to that.
My question: I don't see a man overboard function (MOB) listed in the manual. Does the WPT button not do that if you push and hold, as on the older models?

Thanks for any advice.
Dan

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Dan,

Q. I don't see a man overboard function (MOB) listed in the manual. Does the WPT button not do that if you push and hold, as on the older models?
A. At this time, Element does not support MOBs. A feature request has been logged to consider this feature for inclusion within a future LightHouse Sport software update.
