My s1 has died, will the X5 work in its place. St 6001 with hydraulic tyoe1, Flux gate and rudder feedback. Also, what other core units will work with this

Thank you for your enquiry.
The SPX5 is not suitable for a T1 Hydraulic pump, it can only be used with the Cockpit tiller or wheel drive units or the Raymarine 0.5litre hydraulic pump.
The SPX10 is the course computer that you want to locate. This will work with the Control unit, compass and rudder reference units that you already have.
