[CA] Grand Banks 32, Axiom 9 transducer
Hello,
I have a Grand Banks 32 wood boat that I recently installed an Axiom 9. I am now researching what is the correct through hull RealVision 3D transducer for this boat. The current sonar is mounted on one side of the short keel of the boat (see picture). It had to be blocked for the last transducer to work because of the angle. Has anybody installed a RealVision on a GB before? What is the correct transducer for through hull? Thank you for your help. Ray |

RE: [CA] Grand Banks 32, Axiom 9 transducer
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Ray,
Bronze thru-hulls are recommended for use with wooden hulls. The hull's deadrise in the location where the transducer will be installed will need to be measured. A RV-212 transducer pair would be recommended for deadrise angles from 1° to 12°. The RV-220 transducer pair would be recommended for deadrise angles from 13° to 20°. |
