[CA11] E-classic engine data display
Hi there, these old plotters have a pre-defined engine display for both single and dual engines. What source(s) will the plotter use for the data interface, ie, if the Seatalk NG bus is interfaced to the Seatalk 2 port of the plotter, will it pickup and display engine RPM for example? Or is it only possible via NMEA 0183?

Of course, all assumes the last s/w release is loaded, V5.69

RE: [CA11] E-classic engine data display
Welcome back to the Raymarine Forum lotharjt,

Please click here to view a related FAQ addressing this subject. Essentially, the method of interfacing the MFD to the engine system is the same for any of Raymarine's MFDs supporting engine data. As your MFD is already interfaced to a powered and properly terminated SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone, you need simply interface the engine gateway(s) to the engine system and to a spur socket within the SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone. Please note that the data items listed within the previously referenced FAQ are for MFDs running LigthHouse II or LightHouse 3 software.
