[CA] [CA11] Replacing M232 with a M625

Q1. If I decide to replace the M232 with the M625, does a new cable have to be run or can it operate off the same cable as the M232.
A1. FLIR's MD Series Thermal Cameras are the one lacking pan and tilt capability. As such, I believe that your are referring to FLIR's MD625. Unlike the M232 which is designed to support command/control and video via Ethernet communications, the MD625 is designed to only support command/control via Ethernet communications. While the M232 features a power cable, the MD625 is designed to be powered via POE. The MD625 features a NTSC video interface (TNC) which will either need to be interfaced to the video input connector of
- the Power/NMEA 0183/Video Input Cable of an Axiom Pro / Axiom XL MFD
- the Power/NMEA 0183/Video Input Cable of an a9x/a12x MFD
- the Power/NMEA 0183/Video Input Cable of an c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD
- a video encoder (ex. Axis M7011, etc.) which in turn has been interfaced to the system's Ethernet network.

Q2. Also, would it fit into the same mount?
A3. Negative. FLIR does not offer risers for its MD Series thermal cameras. However, SeaView does and it would be recommended that SeaView accordingly be contacted from information concerning SeaView's riser for the FLIR MD Series thermal cameras.
