Q1. Is Downvision the same as side imaging? A1. No. As the name suggests, DownVision shows what is under the transducer (60 degree cone), while SideVision is designed to provide imaging of structure and fish well out to the sides of the vessel. SideVision is supported by adding a CP200 Sounder Module with CPT-200 Transducer to an a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD. See screen snapshot below showing DownVision and SideVision sonar imaging: |
