[CA] [CA11] Installing Remote control

RE: [CA11] Installing Remote control
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Erez,

The powered and properly terminated SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone which has been installed to interface the Evolution autopilot components to one another will need to either be
- extended to include an E22158 SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter or
- modified to replace one of the backbone's T-Pieces or 5-Way Connectors with a SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter.

The press-fit 3-pin plug of the SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter Cable supplied with the SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter Kit will be cut off to permit its leads to be mated to the color coded terminals of the base station. Alternatively, SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter Cable supplied with the SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter Kit will be connected to a D244 SeaTalk Junction Block. In the case of the latter, a SeaTalk to Bare Leads Cable or a SeaTalk Cable having had one of its press-fit 3-pin plugs cut off will be used to connect the D244 SeaTalk Junction Block to the base station.
