RE: [CA11] Em-trak AIS B100 not being seen by Axiom network over N2K/
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Pau Hana,

The system features no controls over N2K data reception / transmission. It is recommended that you verify that the Data Master Axiom MFD rather than one of the system's other MFDs has been interfaced to the system's powered and properly terminated SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone. If so, then the Data Master Axiom MFD's Product Info diagnostic feature (HOME->SETTINGS->NETWORK->DIAGNOSTICS->PRODUCT INFO) may be used to list all NMEA 2000 devices which have been interfaced to the network. This list should be inspected to verify that it includes the Em-trak AIS B100. If so, then please be aware that while many AIS transceivers support outputting GPS data via the AIS transceiver's 38400 BAUD NMEA 0183 port, the same is not generally so for the AIS transceiver's NMEA 2000 port. Accordingly, if the Em-trak AIS B100 is listed within the Data Master Axiom MFD's Product Info diagnostic feature, then it would appear that while these devices may be communicating AIS data with one another, the MFD may not be receiving GPS data from the Em-trak AIS B100. This may be verified through use of a NMEA 2000 analyzer (ex. Actisense NGT-1 and PC running Actisense's free NMEA Reader software, etc.). Should the installation location of the MFDs prevent them from acquiring sufficient GPS signal strength to permit them to reliably attain and maintain an accurate GPS position FIX, then it would be recommended that a Raystar 150 GPS Sensor be added to the system.
