[CA] [CA11] 2002 depth transducer with e95 sonar

Q1. I also had a sonar module along with a metal yellow box mounted to the bilge floor to support a basic sonar picture on the rl70, I was assuming that it would not talk to the new e95. The sonar module dates back at least to 2004-5. Will the transducer module and thru hull transducer that worked with my rl70 c be made to talk to my new e95 hybrid touch?
A1. The basic sonar picture which you have referred to would have been considered a fishfinder feature. Any transducer which would have been successfully used with the RL70C in the past to support fishfinder features on the RL70C, may be interfaced to the new system in the manner which I had specified within my initial response.
