Course up and/or head up vectors don't maintain their vertical position. Cycling through head up, course up, north up reorients vectors to proper position and they wander off again.

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Sowwanin,

Please don't confuse COG vector with Course-Up chart orientation. The COG vectors is designed to display the projected vessel's track over ground and is draw based on GPS data from the system's GPS sensor. Course Up chart orientation is designed to orient the chart to the course line of a waypoint/cursor position to which navigation has been commanded or the leg line of a route which has been commanded to be followed.

It is possible that there may be an issue with the MFD's source of heading data. Please identify the makes/models of other marine electronic devices which the MFD has been interfaced to. The problem may also be clarified by adding the COG/SOG, Waypoint Info, and Heading data items to the databar and then attaching some screen snapshots showing the reported problem.

Raymarine ST60 Depth, Wind, and Speedo interface with MFD. Also have Raymarine autopilot and radar which also interface with unit.

As indicated, ot is possible that there may be an issue with the MFD's source of heading data ... in this case it may be your autopilot. It is correspondingly recommended that the Heading data item (previously requested to be added to the Databar be compared to a properly calibrated, fluid filled compass (should one have been installed onboard) when steering each of the cardinal and intercardinal points of the compass. Should the heading values differ, then it would be recommended that the autopilot's compass be re-calibrated (verify that the maximum detected deviation is no greater than 10 degrees) and aligned. Should the problem persist, add the COG/SOG, Waypoint Info, and Heading data items to the Databar and then take some screen snapshots showing the reported problem. The screen snapshots may then be reviewed to prior to supplying any further recommendations.
