Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Dwight,

If the MFD was behaving in a manner such that its Limitations of Use dialog was being displayed, then it would likely indicate a loose or corroded connection within the power or ground circuits to which the MFD has been connected. However should the Limitations of Use dialog not be displayed during the cycling which you have described, it would appear that the MFD may have suffered a failure within its touchscreen circuitry necessitating that it be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.
