RE: [CA11] Questions on a New Configuration
JP460,

Q1) ClearCruise: Since I will be placing the AR200 on the hardtop to use as a GPS or GNSS sensor, I might as well be thinking ahead for Augmented Reality. Is it best to purchase a package (T70452, T70453) including camera instead of separate components?
A1) Some packages may provide cost savings and some may not. Pricing is established by individual dealers. Also to be taken into consideration is whether the cable lengths meet your installation needs.

Q1b) I believe the packages contain network cabling?
A1b) The following are included within the T70452 package:
- Raymarine E70346 CAM210 Bullet CCTV Day and Night Video Camera (IP Connected)
- Raymarine E70537 AR200 IP Camera Stabilisation Module, for Augmented Reality
- Raymarine A80159 RayNet (F) to RJ45 (M) cable - 10m
- Raymarine A06034 Backbone Cable 1m
- Raymarine A06028 STNG T-Piece Connector

The following are included within the T70453 package:
- Raymarine E70347 CAM220 Eyeball CCTV Day and Night Video Camera (IP Connected)
- Raymarine E70537 AR200 IP Camera Stabilisation Module, for Augmented Reality
- Raymarine A80159 RayNet (F) to RJ45 (M) cable - 10m
- Raymarine A06034 Backbone Cable 1m
- Raymarine A06028 STNG T-Piece Connector

Q2) Should the AR200 be post mounted or can it be on the flat hardtop?
A2) The AR200 may be bulkhead/post mounted or may be surface mounted.

Q3) Which camera would serve the purpose better for AR? The bullet or dome camera? Dome appears to be more wide angle but what is your recommendation?
A3) The CAM210 would typically be associated for use with the AR feature. The CAM220 is typically employed more for backup camera and deck camera use. Raymarine has not limited use of this feature to the CAM210.

Q4) Transducer pair. I plan to get either the RV-212 (bronze) or RV-312 (plastic) and have a fiberglass hull. Are there pros or cons to bronze versus plastic?
A4) Performance is identical. Plastic is offered simply to provide a more cost effective alternative to bronze. In some applications, hull material or usage (ex. commercial application, etc.) metal transducer housing are required.
