I ordered the new cable but I am a little confused because the transducer port of the MFD that the cable plugs into only has 7 sockets - not 9. Therefore, it will not accept a 9 pin cable unless I break off pins 8 and 9. My C97 also only has 7 sockets on its transducer port.
