alarm in wind vane mode i-70
I have an i-70 system and often use to steer in wind vane mode, which works well.....except for an alarm that goes off for wind direction change. It appears to be set at about 10 degrees, which means in variable winds (or when the boat is rolling hard) the alarm is continuously going off. Since I often open water solo, this is my preferred mode so I can sleep, but with an alarm going off every 5 minutes its a pain.
Is there a way to expand the gate or turn off?
Thanks
Dan

RE: alarm in wind vane mode i-70
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Dan,

Unfortunately, the software of Raymarine autopilots does not presently support configuration of the wind shift alarm threshold threshold. A feature request will be logged accordingly to consider this feature for inclusion within a future software update to the Evolution autopilots as well as to future autopilot designs.

Please click here more information concerning product and feature suggestions.
