L770 Replacement
Good morning,

Replacing the L770 , DSM 250 and B744v system. Can the existing transducer be directly connected to the A127 or ES127 using an adapter cable? Cable part number if so? Can an A127 or ES127 be used with a chirp transducer using a separate DSM if later on the decision is to go chirp? Is side scan available for these units? Thank you.

Rich

RE: L770 Replacement
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Rich,

Q1: Can the existing transducer be directly connected to the A127 or ES127 using an adapter cable? Cable part number if so?
A1. Yes. The part number for the transducer adapter cable is E66066.

Q2. Can an A127 or ES127 be used with a chirp transducer using a separate DSM if later on the decision is to go chirp?
A2. Yes. High Power CHIRP sonar features may be added to any a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs by interfacing the MFD to a CP470 and CP570 CHIRP Fishfinder Sounder Module and compatible CHIRP transducer.

Q3. Is side scan available for these units?
A3. Yes. SideVision sonar features may be added to any a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs by interfacing the MFD to a CP200 SideVision Sonar Module and CPT-200 Transducer.
