[CA] Importing Routes into eS127
I am importing routes from an outside navigation software (Coastal Explore). I save it as a GPX file with a file name.

Once the transfer is completed on the eS127, the file name shows up as a route number, not the name I gave it. Why?

Nothing in the FAQs seem to address this.

Thanks

Tom

RE: [CA] Importing Routes into eS127
Welcome back to the Raymarine Forum Tom,

The LightHouse II software is not designed change file names as part of the data import process. I would be glad to look at your GPX should you add it as an attachment it to this thread. Please specify the list of steps which you when importing the data and use the My Data option to list the files on the microSD memory card showing the filename change. The MFD's capture screen image feature may be used to capture the MFD's screen image of the files listing showing the filename change.

RE: [CA] Importing Routes into eS127
Thanks Chuck.

The steps I took:

1. Insert slot 2
2. Select "My Data"
3. Import/Export
4. Retrieve Data
5. Under my files Tab/SD Card 2
6. Select "Astoria to Neah Bay"
6. Down Load Complete
7. Eject card, select SD 2

Could be the route name is too long for the eS127?

Tom,

The route name is indeed too long. Please click here to view the FAQ addressing addressing transferring data from third party computer navigational planning applications to Axiom & a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs. Please be certain to view the FAQ referenced therein addressing MFD constraints for waypoints, routes and tracks.
