use of chart chip
I have purchased a Ray e1270 and e970. Both have a chip for the Lighthouse charts. I also bought a Navionics Plat+ chart chip. It appears that there are charts preloaded on the instrument.
1) what is on the Lighthouse chip?
2) upon insertion, does the instrument automatically pick up this data?
3) What about the navionics Plat+ chart chip? Insert and go?
4) I am networking these two units, the 9" as th emaster and the 12" as the slave. Can I just use the one chip in the master and will the slave use the same data on the chip?

Thanks again for the great resource Ray has for us!

Tony
