RE: [LW11] SeatalkNG to Seatalk HS Switch
hadjiosif,

As indicated within the FAQ found here, it is not possible to adapt devices lacking an Ethernet interface, but having a SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 to a Raymarine Ethernet (SeaTalkhs / RayNet) network. As indicated within the FAQ found here, the E-Series Classic MFDs are additionally not designed to process NMEA 2000 PGNs associated with AIS data and as such AIS receivers/transceivers cannot be interfaced to the A/C/E-Series Classic MFD via its SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 communications interface. The device(s) which are presently interfaced to the MFD's NMEA 0183 Cable will need to be disconnected from that cable and instead connected to the 4800 BAUD NMEA 0183 leads of the AIS650. The AIS650's 38400 BAUD leads will in turn be connected to the MFD's NMEA 0183 Cable and the MFD's NMEA 0183 Port will then be configured to "AIS38400".
