I am sure that the paddle wheel is fouled to some degree, hence, the degradation in performance, but pulling the transduce inboard is perhaps my least favourite job on a boat!!

In terms of TWS/D, I see the point that is being made at the link but when it comes to deriving the tidal vector (selected in the vessel details pop up) it appears that it too uses log speed. If that is the case, it is surely not correct as tidal streams are a ground based measurement.

I am interested to hear your thoughts
