RE: [CA11] Lighthouse 3.x vs E classic questions
Lothar,

Q1. in the E Classic, the data box parameter for ‘XTE’ provides no sense of off-course to port or starboard. Does the Lighthouse software provide a direction for XTE.
A1. Negative ... although this would be a good feature request and will be logged accordingly for consideration to be included within a future LightHouse 3 software update.

Please click here more information concerning Feature suggestions.

Q2. Similarly, for an AIS target, does Lighthouse software provide a sense of direction for the CPA, ie, can you tell whether it will come close ahead or behind your COG?
A2. This is part of the collision avoidance feature within MFDs running LightHouse 3 and LightHouse 3 software. More details of this feature may be found within the collision avoidance sections of both the LightHouse 3 and LightHouse 2 Advanced Operations Guides.
