Changing the splash screen of an a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 08-23-16 01:15 PM Changing the OEM / User splash screen of an a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD In line with using Lighthouse Version 6 (or above) software, Raymarine is pleased to announce the option of adding an OEM / User splash screen to the power-on sequence for the a, c, e, and gS Series Multifunction display products. The uploaded OEM splash screen will be viewed after the initial power-on Raymarine splash screen. Please see the attached document addressing how to create and install an OEM / User splash screen. Please note that while the attached Tech Update addresses the a-Series MFDs, c-Series MFDs, e-Series MFDs, and gS-Series MFDs, the guidelines specified therein apply to the eS-Series MFDs as well. For eS-Series MFDs, the files will be named OEM_eS9_splash.png (for eS97 & eS98 MFDs) and OEM_eS12_splash.png (for eS127 & eS128 MFDs). Should one desire to have the MFD revert to displaying the Raymarine splash screen, then please click here to view the FAQ addressing this subject. NOTE: eS & gS running LightHouse 3 v3.3.x or 3.4.x do not support LightHouse 3 Splash screen as on Axiom and Axiom Pro MFDs. LightHouse II splashs creens previously installed on eS & gS will remain on eS and gS following an upgrade from LightHouse II v19.03 to LH3 v3.3.x or v3.4.x. LighHouse II splash screens do not copy to Axiom if networked to eS/gS running LightHouse 3. The Factory Reset feature does not remove custom splash screen from eS or gS running LightHouse 3. To remove/change eS or gS splash screen, it will be necessary to downgrade the eS/gS-Series MFD's software to LightHouse II and then use LightHouse II removal/install process. Raymarine will not be creating a process for Axiom and Axiom Pro LightHouse 3 MFDs to install splash screens onto eS/gS running LightHouse 3 software. RAYFAQ# |
